Chamber Announces New Military Affairs Director

The Christian County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the hiring of Ms. Kensley McLellan as the new Director of Military Affairs.  Ms. McLellan holds a Masters Degree and undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee with majors in Marketing and Advertising and Human Resources Management.  She is married to Major Scott McLellan who serves with the 4th Brigade Combat Team (Currahees) at Fort Campbell.
 
Mark Stevens, Chair of the Military Affairs Committee, commented, “We are so pleased that Kensley has accepted our offer to work at the Chamber and to lead the Military Affairs program of work.  With her knowledge of Fort Campbell, enthusiasm, education, and initiative, she was the right choice at the right time for our program of work.”
 
Ms. McLellan’s first day is set for February 20, 2012.  “I am so excited to work at an outstanding organization and to work with such established, respected, and successful volunteers and community leaders.  I don’t take lightly this assignment and will work tirelessly to uphold the standard of excellence at the Military Affairs Committee and the Christian County Chamber of Commerce.  I look forward to continuing the hard work of recruiting more military families to call Christian County their home while strengthening the relationship between the wonderful communities of Christian County and Fort Campbell.”
